Floyd & Co Real Pit BBQ

Floyd & Co started as out of a catering BBQ trailer, serving up slow-smoked pork sammiche's using a secret Floyd family recipe from Tennessee. The aroma of hickory smoke filled the air at the county fair and festivals for several years. But patrons missed the sammiches in times between so much that they were convinced it was time to open a restaurant.

In May 2009, owners Bubba and Tammy Floyd opened their first full service restaurant, Redneck's Southern Pit BBQ, in the Central Commercial building in Historic Downtown Kingman. They became an instant local hot spot and favorite eatery for many frequent travelers. In the summer of 2012 they expanded with the Redneck's Ice Cream Shoppe.

On the menu, a hungry traveler can find slow smoked sammaches of chicken, pulled pork and brisket, or something lite like a chicken salad. Southern style appetizers are in abundance, like deep fried pickle or sweet potato fries. Or deserts such as homemade peach cobbler. Milkshakes and soft serve ice cream.

Early 2016, restorations next door began for a wood-fired pizza and Redneck's was renamed Floyd & Co Real Pit BBQ. Floyd & Co Wood Fired Pizza is expected to open next door in March, 2016.
