Alpacas of the Southwest has an open house at their ranch. A chance to get up close and personal with our kid friendly alpacas. Fun for the whole family. Mohave Rock and Gem Club set up to demonstrate rock cutting. Lots of rocks and gemstones for sale. High Desert Astronomy Club there on Saturday with solar telescopes. Watch and learn how to work with alpaca fleece and yarn by local hand spinners who will have their spinning wheels on site.. Kids can bring home an arts & craft project they make from the arts and craft cabin. Local artisans with their handmade items for sale. Hog Heaven food and drink vendor will be there so come on out and enjoy lunch at our picnic tables. Be sure to stop in at the Ranch Store to see all the soft, luxurious Alpaca products while you're there. Socks sweaters, scarfs, handmade rugs, souvenirs you name it. Plenty of free parking and handicap parking.

It is well received by the public each year. Not necessary to schedule to come out. Just come on out and have some fun and learn about these curious, kid friendly alpacas.
Drive 14 east on I-40 from Kingman. Take a right on Blake Ranch Road Exit. (Petro Truck stop) Take a lets at first street (Dubois) There will be well marked signage to guide visitors.
