Burns Night includes; Pipes and drums. There will also be a string quartet and a vocalist this year! You'll get dinner ( haggis is an option ), some good poetry, probably read poorly and some bad poetry, probably read fairly well. Hapless attempts at humor throughout the evening. This includes reading about the poet Robert Burns and a "Toast to the Lassies" and the equally brutal "Response of the Lassies".
Kingman Fire Pipes & Drums is an unfunded group of volunteer musicians (and one guy who is tone deaf, has no natural rhythm and can't read music) dedicated to the preservation of Scottish martial music. Particularly the pipes and drums. We support local Fire and Police Honor Guards and perform throughout the region. All funds raised go to equipment, instruments, uniforms and training. Your support is the key to our future. Limited seating and as it is a catered dinner, with advance sales only. Ticket sales end on the 18th of January. additional information at: www.facebook.com/kingmanfirepipesanddrums/events
