The "National Poet of Scotland" Robert Burns is celebrated annually, worldwide, around his birthday which is January 25, 1759. The Kingman Fire Pipes & Drums will hold a fundraiser dinner for said occasion. Live Bagpipe band performances, solo performances and Celtic folk music also provided by local DJ. A dressy yet casual evening with dinner catered by Dora' Haggis will also be on the menu, if we can catch one in the surrounding hills. Be ready for fun. Good poetry may be read poorly and poorly written poetry may be read well. We're not sure what you'll get. Adult beverages will be available to numb the pain of bad poetry if needed. Don't be afraid to dress up and Scottish attire is encouraged!
