About the owners: Micah and Ginger Spencer purchased Cella Wineries from the previous owners, Carlos and Zulma Cella, in late 2020. In 2008, previous owner Carlos, planted the first vines (Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Chardonnay, and Syrah) and he produced his first Estate Wines in 2010. Micah Spencer has been studying and learning the in and outs of wine making, stating Carlos will be teaching him the ropes, or should we say vines, over the next couple harvests. The Spencers reopened the tasting room in early January. The winery and tasting room are ready and stocked for visitors to stop by Thursdays (4-7pm) or Friday-Sunday (11am-6pm). If wine seekers would like to stop in on another day, they can call 928.377.2489 and request an appointment.

Most Cella Wines are grown and bottled in Kingman, AZ.

Cella Winery competed with 13 of Arizona’s best wineries at the 2015 Kingman Wine Festival. They took awards for three of their wines:

1st Place with Zulma’s 2013 Moscato Private Reserve

2nd Place for their Nicolino 2013 Cabernet Sauvignon Estate Wine Private Reserve

2nd Place with their 2010 Syrah.
