Desert Diamond Distillery, Stetson Winery, Cella Winery and the historic El Trovatore Motel are kicking off a Route 66 Cocktails and Corks Spirit Tour in September of 2013.
For $20 per person (plus tax), you can hop aboard and enjoy a leisurely trip on the El Trovatore Route 66 Shuttle to the area’s growing spirits and wine venues. Initially, the tours will be offered two days a month (on a Friday or Saturday), with three tours each day.
Leaving from the Powerhouse Visitor Center, the first stop will be at Desert Diamond Distillery for a behind the scenes tour of their production and barrel rooms, as well as a tasting at their tasting bar. This bar has an interesting Las Vegas Rat Pack history, you'll want to ask about.
Next, participants will shuttle out to the wineries, visiting Cella Winery for a taste of locally produced wines and Stetson Winery taking a tour of the winery, the vineyards and - if you're on the last tour - catching a glimpse of the Arizona Sunset.
After everyone is pleasantly relaxed, the shuttle will return to the Historic Downtown. Participants have the option of being driven to the shopping area for a meal at the local mom and pop restaurants, or being returned to the Powerhouse.

There will be three (3) tours each day:
The morning tour will be from 9:00 am to 12:15 pm, so have a hearty breakfast!
The midday tour will be from 12:30 pm until 3:45 pm, don’t come on an empty stomach
The sunset tour will be from 4:00 pm until 7:15 pm (The Tour guide reserves the right to take their time at the last stop, Stetson Winery! So relax and have some fun on the Sunset tour. )
If tours fill too fast, extra tour dates will follow! All participants must be at least 21 years old.
